Quectel LC76G – powerful and precise GNSS module with low power consumption
Compared with single constellation receivers, by enabling multiple GNSS constellations, the LC76G module increases the number of visible satellites, reduces the time needed for installation and improves positioning accuracy, especially when driving through densely populated urban areas.
Its integrated LNA provides high sensitivity and allows precise position detection, as well as fast signal tracking and acquisition and better performance even in challenging environments. By combining EASY™ (Embedded Assist System), an advanced AGNSS feature, with GLP* (GNSS Low Power) low-power mode, the LC76G achieves high performance with low power consumption and fully meets the industrial standards.
The EASY™ technology enables the module to automatically calculate and predict satellite orbits using ephemeris data (duration of up to 3 days) stored in internal RAM. As a result, the Quectel module quickly achieves position fix even at lower signal levels with low energy consumption. Additionally, with GLP technology, it can adaptively adjust the on/off time based on environmental conditions and movement to achieve a balance between the positioning accuracy and power consumption.
Thanks to its enhanced performance, the Quectel LC76G module is ideal for consumer and industrial applications. Its extremely low power consumption makes it a perfect solution for power-sensitive applications, such as portable devices.
