The X8 makes use of a hinged lid to tackle accessible cabinet type applications, perfect for mounting DIN Rail electrical systems within, controlling a host of IoT wireless devices in homes, cities, factories or hospitals. The diversity in size joint with the cabinet type nature, provides the ideal home for centralised systems as industry 4.0 and IoT solutions grow.
Small (260mm x 110mm x 75mm) to large (830mm x 630mm x 285mm) are available to order.
Key features:
- Hinged lid with box type latches creates a door system.
- Latches can be swapped with key lock types
- Clear lids are better used with the internal dual door accessory for control panels, displays, monitoring type applications
- Solid lids may be better suited to distribution electrics, centralised IoT systems, high power equipment, meter enclosures
- Padlock lug increases security
- Top and bottom ‘overlap’ allows water run off if used outside or in wetter areas.
- Brass inserts in the base provide a solution to normal plastic stand-offs that wear out quickly once screwed into
- Stand-offs in the base allow for DIN Rails to be mounted
- Vent accessories allow for applications where heat extraction is needed
- IP66/67 and IK08 protection ratings for application environments of medium to high level severity
