The modular CombiTac range from Stäubli Electrical Connectors has added a new fluid coupling module. Its shorter 11mm stroke enables the LCT06 coolant coupling to be used for fluid and pneumatic transfer in a DIN housing as well as panel mount applications.
Safety and reliability are ensured by shut-off valves on both sides, and a double flush face prevents leakage. A slightly larger bore size delivers a higher flow rate and lifetime is as much as 100,000 mating cycles. The operating temperature range is -15°C to +90°C.
The LCT06 has nitrile (NBR) O-rings as standard, but LCT/JE (EPDM) and LCT/JV (Viton) are available on request.
Both socket and plug couplers can be used in the existing single and double pole CombiTac carriers, and can be combined with a wide variety of other contacts including data, fibre optic, power, coaxial, high current and high voltage.
