Sager Electronics, a leading North American distributor of Interconnect, Power, and Electromechanical products and custom solutions provider, announces the promotion of Rich Arieta to Vice President of Business Development for Custom Solutions. Throughout his 25 years with Sager Electronics, Rich has made innumerable contributions to the company, always bringing his unique combination of technical know-how, customer relatability, and leadership to his roles. He was instrumental in helping develop Sager’s original power supply line card strategy, and later the creation of Sager Power Systems and the Power Systems sales engineering team. His dedication to solving customers’ design issues has come to define not only his own personal brand, but also that of the company’s Power Systems specialized group.
In 2022, Rich assumed leadership of Business Development for the Custom Solutions Center. The initial move saw all inside power, battery and thermal technical resources and business development management aligned within one structure. In June of 2023, the Power Systems framework expanded when Rich took on the management responsibility of the engineering team in the Custom Solutions Center.
