NIC Components’ NSPE-UT series capacitors withstand +150°C


These surface mount SMT aluminum electrolytic capacitors feature +150°C rating and extended lifetimes at reduced operating temperatures.

NIC Components Corp. is pleased to announce the release of the NSPE-UT series of surface mount SMT aluminum electrolytic capacitors featuring +150°C operating rating and extended lifetimes at reduced operating temperatures  (i.e., >22,000 hours at +125°C & >10 years at +105°C) for 8mm & 10mm case sizes.
NSPE-UT series meets AEC-Q200, and is available in six sizes; 6.3×8 to 10×16.5 (DxH) covering capacitance values from 47uF to 470uF in voltage ratings of 35VDC, and 63VDC.
  • Operating temperaure range of -40°C to +150°C
  • Ripple Current Rating to 5.7Arms (increased RCR at +125°C operation)
Hybrid construction (polymer and liquid electrolyte) provides superior performance supporting 5G cellular remote radio head (RRH), and higher voltage systems; such as 48VDC automotive, 57V IIoT, and -48VDC /-60VDC power for fixed and mobile telecommunication and datacom (ICT) network equipment. The SMT construction is halogen-free, RoHS & REACH compliant, and compatible with +260°C peak Pb-free reflow soldering processes. Evaluation samples are available upon request.
