The smallest member of this family is the LTE Cat 1 EG21-G, which is capable to reach max data rates 10Mbps DL/5Mbps UL. EG21-G Mini PCIe is backward-compatible with existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks, ensuring connectivity even in remote areas devoid of 4G or 3G coverage.
EG21-G Mini PCIe supports Qualcomm® IZat™ location technology Gen8C Lite (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou/Compass, Galileo and QZSS). The integrated GNSS facilitates quicker, more precise, and reliable positioning while substantially simplifying product design. In contemporary wireless communication systems, MIMO technology satisfies requirements for data rate and link stability.
Quectel EG25-G mini PCIe is an LTE category 4 module and shares the same specification with EG21-G except the Cat 4 data rates up to 150Mbps DL/50Mbps UL. If you need even higher data rates, choose the Quectel EP06 LTE-A (A-Advanced) category 6 module optimized specially for M2M and IoT applications. Adopting the 3GPP Rel. 11 LTE technology, it delivers maximum data rates up to 300Mbps DL/50Mbps UL.
Designed in the Mini PCIe form factor, EP06 module has 2 versions (EP06-E and EP06-A) for different target regions and these variants cover nearly all the mainstream carriers worldwide.
A rich set of Internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and abundant functionalities (USB serial drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux, Android/eCall*) extend the applicability of the module to a wide range of M2M applications:
