L-com, an Infinite Electronics brand, and a preferred manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced that it has introduced a new line of right-angle USB 3.0 cable assemblies with female connectors.
L-com’s right-angle USB 3.0 cable assemblies are designed to address high-speed data applications in tight spaces. Adding to an already extensive offering of right-angle USB 3.0 cables with male connectors, these new assemblies feature molded female connectors which can be used to extend existing male USB 3.0 cables.
Three versions are offered with up right-angle, down right-angle and horizontal right-angle cable exits on the male end of the assembly. Features include 30-micro-inch gold-plated contacts, fully shielded cable and connectors and off-the-shelf lengths of 0.5, 0.75 and 1 meter.
“This new addition to our existing right-angle USB 3.0 cable line is a great solution for extending standard male USB 3.0 cable runs while supporting up to 4.8 Gbps data rates. By offering a wide variety of cable configurations off-the-shelf, we can meet our customers’ requirements for any application,” said Brian Gates, Product Manager.
