SEACON product lines from TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, are now available from TTI, Inc., a leading global specialty distributor of electronic components. This expansion of a strategic partnership that has stretched over two decades enables TE to ensure customers in the key marine, oil and gas markets receive their products faster.
Fulfilment speed remains a top priority for both TE and TTI, with customers now having the ability to purchase all SEACON product lines through TTI including six SEACON high demand product lines that are stocked and readily available. Used extensively in the global oil and gas industries, the SEACON series of connectors includes electrical dry-mate, optical hybrid dry-mate, electrical underwater mateable, electrical wet-mate, optical underwater mateable connectors, downhole, field installable, underwater switches, penetrators and specialty products.
The advantages of this strategic distribution partnership include the speed of the ordering process, shorter lead times and the additional flexibility to purchase in small quantities, embracing lean principles and just-in-time inventory processes.
This new initiative brings opportunities for both TE and TTI and the markets they serve. TE’s SEACON products are stocked at various TTI locations in the U.S., EMEA and Asia.
