Sager Electronics, a leading North American distributor of Interconnect, Power and Electromechanical components and provider of value-add solutions, recently hosted a grand opening marking the official opening of its new Southcentral location in Carrollton, Texas. The celebration capped a two-year project, resulting in a newly designed 64,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. The new venue houses a 40,000 square foot distribution center, a 20,000 square foot value-add Power Solutions Center, and the company’s Southcentral sales service center.
Over 150 Sager employees and guests participated in an “opening bell” ringing ceremony to commemorate the new building, and enjoyed tours of the facility. Sager’s entire executive team was on hand to help celebrate and to congratulate everyone involved in the project.
“When we began planning for a new Texas facility almost two years ago, it was our goal to expand our distribution capabilities and create a space that would inspire creativity, innovation and teamwork.” remarked Shannon Freise, Vice President of Operations. She continued, “Many individuals had a hand in this project, and it was important to Sager to thank each of them for their role in this amazing new building. We are very proud of what we have accomplished.”
