On December 13th, 2021, Electronic Connector Company (ECCO) was visited by Bill Foster who currently serves the 11th district encompassing the southwestern suburban Chicagoland area. He is a former Scientist and Entrepreneur who understands the challenges facing technology companies like ECCO. Bernard Gizzi, ECCO’s President invited Bill in and was joined by the Congressman’s special constituent advocate, Chris Adams. Bernard comments, “I was so pleased that Bill accepted our offer to come into our Downers Grove facility to listen to our concerns and discuss potential solutions to the many USA small business issues that exist today, some of which are labor challenges, trade/tariff woes, and logistics/supply chain problems”. Bill serves on committees and task forces to address many of today’s most important issues facing us including Financial Serves/Entrepreneurship, Research & Development, Artificial Intelligence, and Space Science Technology.
The ECCO team was delighted that Bill took the time out of his busy schedule to come and see our facility and to hear from a local small business servicing our Armed Forces and their suppliers on ways to improve policies allowing for further investments in people and innovation.
