Additions to the ‘18V Power for All System’ from Bosch: Cordless paint spray systems with AllPaint technology

Even application of paint, lacquers, and varnishes.

  • UniversalSpray 18V-300 and AdvancedSpray 18V-500 round out cordless paint spray system range for DIYers
  • AllPaint technology: one nozzle for paint, lacquers, and varnishes
  • Smooth finish and longer runtime thanks to brushless motor and ‘Syneon Technology’
  • One battery for many applications: save space and money, protect the environment

Bosch has rounded out its range of cordless paint spray systems for DIYers with two new tools. The UniversalSpray 18V-300 and the AdvancedSpray 18V-500 make it possible to apply all types of paint, lacquer, and varnish evenly to walls and furniture. Unlike the EasySpray 18V-100, which is already available, these new tools are also compatible with wall paints. The tools are part of the ‘18V Power for All System,’ which covers all representative tools in each segment, currently comprises about 70 DIY tools, gardening tools, and home appliances, and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance.’ All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves users space and money and protects the environment.

Air volume adjustment and ergonomic design for effortless spraying

With their AllPaint technology, the UniversalSpray 18V-300 and AdvancedSpray 18V-500 offer one key advantage over their competitors. As a result, all sorts of coatings can be applied with just one nozzle and without requiring any accessories. The individual air volume adjustment allows DIYers to apply lacquers, varnishes, and wall paints with ease. Higher air speeds are required for wall paints, while lower speeds are sufficient to apply even coats of varnish. Thanks to their brushless motors, both tools offer high motor and air speeds, making for smooth and even coatings, even with wall paints. Not only that, but the sprayers also have longer runtimes and provide the same level of performance regardless of the level of charge. This is thanks to the optimum coordination of all key components, such as the motor and air routing, combined with an intelligent electronic control system called ‘Syneon Technology.’ Only Bosch offers this interaction between motor electronics and battery. The ergonomic design makes spraying paints simple. The spray lever is located close to the handle, meaning that users can easily trigger and control how much paint is being applied with precision – including when working overhead. The sprayer unit and the motor can be disconnected at the touch of a button, making cleaning the tools a breeze.

UniversalSpray 18V-300: straightforward allrounder

One of the main advantages of the UniversalSpray 18V-300 is its ease of use. DIYers can switch between two air flow settings, which ensure that the right amount of paint is being sprayed depending on the viscosity of the material – providing a perfectly smooth finish. While thinner coatings such as wood varnishes require less volume to prevent the liquid from running, wall paints have to be applied at a higher level of performance and throughput. The UniversalSpray 18V-300 is perfect for medium-sized painting projects such as garden sheds or furniture.

AdvancedSpray 18V-500: even coats thanks to fine spraying

DIYers who want to achieve a particularly smooth finish and even paint application can turn to the AdvancedSpray 18V-500 with its patented AirBoost technology. The accelerated airflow allows the tool to spray particularly fine coats. What is more, the AdvancedSpray 18V-500 also features fully adjustable airflow settings, which enable the user to set exactly the right speed for the paint type. The tool comes with two attachable air caps: a black one for faster work progress and a white one that ensures an even finer finish. The AdvancedSpray 18V-500 is ideal for larger paint-spraying projects such as room walls.
