EOS Power brings its new VPS600/1000 series of medical and commercial high-efficiency AC/DC products to the Embedded World 2019 show (MEV booth Hall 3-341). EOS is a leading designer, manufacturer and seller of high efficiency open frame power supplies. Its top-selling series for embedded solutions; the innovatively cooled WLC550 and the ultra-flat ULP series from 25W to 275W – all based on standard footprints – are leading open frame supplies in their classes.

Due to the close integration of product development and manufacturing, key advantages to EOS products are options to modify the standard offerings and provide value-added solutions when necessary.

The recent versatile VPS series are the first EOS products entering the midsize output segment above 600 W. They are less than 1 U flat, and deliver 600 to 1000 W, depending on the cooling options selected.

The WLC series offers up to 250 Watt conduction cooled and up to 550 W output with forced air, depending on its cooling options and due to its exceptional double plate thermal spreading technology. Both, VPS and WLC, can be operated in parallel mode, and offer multiple mounting, cooling and modification options.

The ultra-flat ULP series is recognized by embedded designers for its high power densities, extending to up to 30 watts per cubic Inch, with maximum height profiles of 0.75 Inches (19.05 mm). The (M)ULP40, 180 and 275 W series offer customers the possibility of using standard 2 x 4 and 3 x 5 inch open frame medical and commercial grade power solutions in height restricted environments, without having to change mechanical footprints to increase efficiencies. The 0.75 inch (19.05 mm) height profile has been a market first in this AC/DC open frame power range which even further expands the options available to EOS Power customers and their applications.
