The leading technical global semiconductor distributor of wireless and video technology, Symmetry Electronics, announced today the company has signed a distribution agreement with Globalstar, the leading provider of mobile satellite voice and data services. Symmetry Electronics will now offer a range of Globalstar’s satellite and multi-radio modems which support global connectivity.
“Globalstar and their innovative products complement our current offerings, and will enhance Symmetry’s ability to offer premier technologies to our wireless and video customers,” said David Beck, Vice President of Marketing at Symmetry Electronics.
With the addition of Globalstar products, Symmetry expands its traditional offerings of cellular, wireless and Bluetooth, to include satellite-based solutions. The company will begin to incorporate a number of Globalstar’s IoT products including STX-3, STINGR and SmartOne C among others.
