Sager Electronics, a leading North American distributor of Interconnect, Power and Electromechanical components and provider of value-add solutions, recently completed an e-commerce study in collaboration with the Isenberg Undergraduate Consulting Group (IUCG). The IUCG is a club comprised of undergraduate students enrolled in the University of Massachusetts at Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management. The purpose of the study was to establish a comprehensive roadmap for its www.sager.com and power.sager.com web environments.
“Working with the IUCG team was truly an extraordinary experience and we couldn’t be more impressed with the students, the process and the outcome,” stated Shannon Freise, Vice President of Operations for Sager Electronics. “The team embraced our objectives, learned our business and presented an actionable plan with an anticipated return on investment.”
IUCG Project Manager Alexandra Powers, said, “Sager was seeking a consultant to conduct a multi-faceted e-commerce study that encompassed product management, digital marketing, creative, technologies and operations. This appealed to IUCG as it crossed so many disciplines. We enjoyed the challenge each particular requirement presented, and then bringing that research and analysis to a final recommendation. This was a valuable experience and we cannot thank Sager enough for giving us this opportunity.”
