New High-Flex, Continuous Motion, Braided Shield Ethernet Cables

In continuous motion and automation applications, standard Ethernet cables will fail due to extreme flex cycles and continuous movement.

To address these applications, L-com has just released a new series of ultra-flexible, braided shield Ethernet cables.
These unique cable assemblies are rated to 10 million flex-cycles at 1.82″ (46.4mm) for continuous motion and automation applications.

This new cable series includes the TRD855HFB family which features shielded RJ45 connectors on each end of the assembly and Category 5e rated cable.
The TRG515-P6D family which features shielded RJ45 connectors on one end of the assembly and RJ45 GigE connectors on the other end and the TRG516-P6D family which features RJ45 GigE connectors on both ends of the assembly.

These assemblies are designed for continuous motion applications where ordinary patch cables fail. They are rated for 10 million cycles at 8x the cable diameter and come with a tinned copper braid shield to protect against EMI/RFI interference. The cable is EIA568 color-coded for compatibility with standard installations. These cables are ideal for continuous motion, factory automation or robotics applications. GigE Ethernet cables are available in GigE to GigE RJ45 connectors as well as GigE to standard RJ45 in either a Category 5e or a Category 6a rating. Contact us today with all your application needs.

Features Include:

  • Tinned copper braided shield
  • EIA568 color-coded
  • Category 5e rated
