Quectel offers an extremely small and reasonably priced LTE Cat. 1 bis module.
In particular, for size-sensitive applications, the ultra-compact 4G/LTE module EG800Q-EU LTE Cat. 1 bis in an LGA container with a single antenna gives increased freedom in the design of IoT devices and enables a wider range of uses. Additionally, the EG800Q-EU offers a wide range of Internet protocols as well as industry-standard interfaces like USB 2.0, UART, I2C, PCM, and USIM, extending the module’s usefulness for IoT applications like asset management, remotely managed access control (RMAC), and smart grid. In addition, the module supports DFOTA to enable automatic firmware upgrades and integrated Wi-Fi positioning services when there is no GPS signal indoors.
