Juki Automation Systems to Highlight Autonomous Material Handling & JM-50 at SMTA Guadalajara

Juki Automation Systems (JAS), Inc., a world-leading provider of automated assembly products and systems and subsidiary of Juki Corporation, today announced plans to exhibit at the SMTA Guadalajara Expo & Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Sept. 21-22, 2022 at the Expo Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. Juki’s team will be available to demonstrate the award-winning Autonomous Material Handling System and JM-50.

Juki’s Autonomous Material Handling System, building on their highly popular Intelligent Storage Systems, consists of the ISM3600 Ultra Flex Intelligent Storage System, the ISM3900 Ultra Flex expansion module, the Multi Interface Module, the External Elevator Module and an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) designed to work as one unit. The complete package provides the unique ability to automatically store, retrieve, deliver and return components throughout the factory. An industry first integrated automatic x-ray component counter is also available.  Components can be taken by the AMR from the main warehouse to the storage tower and any other location where they are needed.

The new JM-50 utilizes Juki’s advanced TAKUMI placement head. This head automatically adjusts its height to provide the optimal speed and component handling at the same time. It can pick with up to four nozzles at the same time.

The JM-50 is supported by Juki’s JaNets line control software, along with all other current pick-and-place models. This makes it easy to program the entire line from one software package.
