HARTING has added a wealth of coding options to its Han® Q 5/0 connector insert with crimp contacts.
Coding allows several connectors with inserts to be mounted side-by-side without the chance of confusing different devices. As the connectors are often difficult to distinguish from one another, the use of coding ensures that all connections are plugged in correctly, making the entire application safer for the user.
The use of two pluggable red pins gives the Han® Q 5/0 a total of 36 different options for coding. The new Han® Q 5/0 insert with coding option – items no. 09 12 005 3004 (pin) and 09 12 005 3104 (female) – is also plug-compatible with the previous Han® Q 5/0 versions with crimp or Quick Lock connection.
The possible plug-in positions in the insulator are shown by upper-case letters, ensuring correct assembly every time.
