High performance and maximum connecting safety: The HVSL800 connectors from Amphenol.
The ExcelImate S HVSL 800 connector from Amphenol IPG fulfils the requirements of the LV215 industry standard for electric vehicle applications and impresses above all with its performance. The HVIL contacts in conjunction with a double-secured locking system, together with the IP69K standard tightness, ensure maximum safety, especially in harsh environments. This smaller version of the HVSL 1000 ExcelImate Plus series was specially developed for power transmission in inverters, rack power distribution units (PDUs), and batteries. The connectors are now available from stock at www.rutronik24.com.
The connectors are available in both a two-pole and a three-pole version for conductor cross-sections from 35 mm2 to 50 mm2 and come in an orange-colored thermoplastic housing with contacts made from a silver-plated copper alloy. They can withstand a rated voltage of up to 1,000 V at a rated current of up to 180 A and work reliably in a temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C. Their robust reliability makes them ideal for applications in e-mobility.
