Kontron’s Cab-n-Connect(TM) A100 CWAP features the 802.11ac WiFi protocol that substantially increases bandwidth efficiency for next-generation HD video on the aircraft. It allows both the client device and access point to seamlessly work together to provide an optimized communication path for faster data transmission.

There are a number of software and security threats for devices that use airline cabin WiFi.
