element14 Community launches competition to inspire completion of old electronics projects

element14, an Avnet Community, has launched a new spring cleaning-themed challenge to encourage its community of engineers, makers, and innovators to revisit and complete their unfinished electronics projects.

The competition invites members to breathe new life into half-completed builds or past projects that may have stalled or never quite worked. Whether it’s a prototype tucked away in a drawer or a design that didn’t reach functionality, now is the perfect time to bring it back to life and share it with the community.

This is an ideal opportunity for members to refocus their creativity and showcase the journey of reviving their work to a broader engineering audience.

To enter and compete for prizes, participants need to publish a blog post on the element14 Community detailing how they completed a previously unfinished project. The deadline for submissions is Monday, June 30th, 2025.

To qualify, participants must submit one comprehensive project blog covering all aspects of how the project was completed. This can be a project already posted and now completed, or one that has not yet been shared on the community platform.
