Geneva
The Conservatory and Botanical Garden of the City of Geneva (CH) made a clear choice for corten steel street furniture. The warm patina of the weathered steel complements the classic buildings and contrasts with the abundance of greenery.
Several Streetlife products were included in the renewal of the main entrance area of the botanical gardens. An inviting reception area is enclosed by 30 metres of Rough&Ready Curved benches with a corten base, while six Open Pillars along the entrance path guide visitors into the park accentuating sightlines and the monumental trees.
Miami
In Miami (FL, USA) Open Pillars articulate the main routes through the large harbourside recreation area, Regatta Park. A grey powder coat finish results in the Open Pillars smoothly blending in with the surrounding palm trees. At night the integrated multicoloured LED lights make the Pillars stand out and highlight the paths.
Pori
In the Finnish town of Pori a configuration of 3 corten steel Open Pillars mark a traffic roundabout in a monumental way. These Pillars are equipped with base-mounted LED lights, providing a warm glow on the corroded surface.
