Chromasens has expanded its line of chromaPIXA tri-linear CCD sensor line scan cameras with a high speed model featuring a maximum line rate of 92.7 kHz (92,700 lines per second). Designed for inline color measurements, the new chromaPIXA 2K detects any variation in color with its 2048 pixels x 3 resolution to help improve downstream color processing and satisfy quality standards, while helping to eliminate the high cost of production waste.
Outputting in LAB format, the chromaPIXA 2K provides unrivaled detection of flaws in web-based color-verification systems with superior consistently. Continuous white balancing guarantees a stable white point to match the application’s light source perfectly and take into account minor color shifts that are the result of aging lights, temperature, and ambient lighting conditions.
The color calibration system internally converts the CCD sensor’s spectral response to match sRGB, eciRGB, AdobeRGB, CIE-L*a*b* or CIE-XYZ profile standards in realtime. For added versatility either F-mount or C-mount lenses can be used.
